Vintage: 2024 (Bio Bourgon)
Grape variety : 100 % Gamay
Average age of the vines: 17 years
Description: Historically, at the Brantard estate, we have always created our rosé using Gamay. This grape variety, in our opinion, is particularly suited to this type of wine due to its aromatic potential on cherry / sour cherry fruit and its acidity which allows for the production of fresh and summery wines. Ideal for an aperitif or paired with Asian cuisine.
Tasting note by head sommelier Sarah Pagès:
"Sharing rosé, fruity and intense, Jalousie is a rosé wine with notes of red and black fruits, which gracefully combines character and aromatic richness. It offers a beautiful structure and great complexity on the palate, with a long finish. It will be perfect around a gourmet aperitif, barbecues, a paella or even salmon en papillote."
