Domaine
du
Brantard

Domaine du Brantard is run by a couple, Antoine (winemaker & agronomist) and Isaline (biologist) who are committed to cultivating their land with a vision focused on respecting nature and the soils that make up our terroir.
This commitment has been reflected in the conversion to organic farming (in 2019) and the implementation of measures for wildlife and flora, which include, for example, the creation of hedgerow networks, an aquatic biotope, shelters for birds, small mammals and insects, or the adoption of less invasive soil working and grass management techniques, with the aim of finding the best balance between productivity and respect for the environment.
It is also in this spirit that the estate has welcomed sheep to help us maintain our land by reducing the use of machinery and for the enjoyment of visitors.
The Domaine is also a place for hosting and reception, whether during our themed events or private evenings that we organise. The key words are always "relaxation" and "pleasure" in an exceptional and warm setting, amidst nature, for a day out with friends or family.

Our estate covers 9 hectares, of which 4, spread over 3 villages, are dedicated to the cultivation of the
vine. This geographical spread allows for a magnificent diversity of terroirs giving rise to
complex and harmonious wines with a hint of originality that is the signature of the house.
We also take pleasure in regularly creating niche cuvées, aged in unusual vessels,
to take you further into the magical world of wine.
Our spirits are produced from the fruits of our old standard-tree orchard and our vines.
Harvested at the ideal maturity to be fermented by us, they then undergo a
systematically double-distilled in a Charentais still. Each distillate is guaranteed 100% natural. Our
spirits are then aged in different types of containers (stoneware jars and oak barrels)
to best express their aromatic potential.
A warm and original setting to discover our wines and spirits during tastings, visits or private events.
Whether the vine is in bloom or asleep in winter, the Domaine du Brantard welcomes you all year round, on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. For a tasting, come and discover our wines, meet those who make them and take home a few bottles to extend the discovery.
