Guru is a Gin whose alcoholic base we have worked on is mainly composed of apple, allowing for a bit more roundness and softness than when working with a base of purified industrial alcohol.
The idea behind the development of Guru was to offer a Gin with spicy flavours. After numerous tests, we decided to work with Mace, which is the aril (cover) of the nutmeg. But alone, Mace does not provide enough substance to a blend that we wanted to be more indulgent and intense. That is why we combined it with the rhizome of Iris which releases intense smooth and floral notes to the blend as well as elderflowers which wonderfully enhance the vegetal side while bringing cohesion to the roundness of this Gin that is just waiting to be tasted!
